Pegasus' Creative Fundraising Benefits ALA

June 23, 2003: Team Pegasus proves that a little creativity, fun and some competition pay off big. To raise money for the May 17, 2003 Ft. Worth ALA Walk, departments competed against one another in an effort to raise the most money. The rules of the competition? Only one: money was to be raised through fundraising activities, not solicitation for donations.

Fundraising events included activities such as a "Dunk the Managers" dunking booth donated by A&H Employee Benefits, "gopher" for a day auction, basketball pools, and breakfast, lunch and bake sales. In addition, raffle tickets were sold for limo rides donated by Avalon Transportation and massages donated by Tanya Degroote and Touch Artists.

In total, Pegasus Logistics Group raised $2281.00, the largest team total for the walk and had the largest team attend the walk, which consisted of 25 members.
